The title sequence should always be in service to the media. Playing around with different styles of sequence I thought a long singular opening, probbably the most common style, would be successful similar in style to True Detective or Mindhunter. After more sketching I changed directions, the show is an alien invasion that occurs in waves and the title sequence should emulate that. Each episode has a unique opening with themes or imagery that relate to that episode.
